The Vision
Accessibly Simple was founded out of a mother and daughter duo’s personal experiences trying to navigate a world that sometimes fails to accommodate those with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The journey started with the daughter’s graduation from college, where she realized that there was a shortage of accessible resources for individuals like herself, who were struggling with certain hurdles.
During this same period, her mother was diagnosed with macular degeneration as well as living with an autoimmune disorder. Through their shared experiences, they discovered the need for a business that could offer valuable information to help others overcome the same obstacles they face every day. This led to the daughter’s vision of Accessibly Simple, a small business that would be dedicated to directing people to innovative, accessible, and holistic solutions that focus on not just helping people manage their conditions but creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone has equal access to the resources they need to thrive.
The team believe that with easy access to healthy food, accessibility aids, and an inclusive environment, anyone can achieve a better quality of life. Their mission is about much more than mere products and services - it’s about improving access to resources that help individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses lead better, healthier lives by offering information and resources to help individuals find the solutions that best meet their needs.
Central to the Accessibly Simple mission is their desire to give back. The duo are dedicated to donating portions of their time and profits to help people connect with the accessibility aids, organizations, or employment opportunities that can help them the most, helping create a more equitable world where individuals with diverse needs and abilities have the same opportunities to succeed as everyone else.
